A manager screen takes about 240 minutes
The complementary services of the manager screening need relatively longer time. Appointment is given in advance.
- 1. Extensive laboratory tests
Patients will be informed about a complete range of lipid metabolism, cardiovascular risk factors, blood sugar values, renal and hepatic function.
- 2. Internal-cardiological examination
An internal examination is completed so that it is customized for particular patients by taking into consideration what kinds of previous individual or family illnesses they may have. The results of the examination help the internist giving a written advice concerning the patient’s medical treatment, lifestyle or diet.
- 3. ECG
An ECG-scan serves to measure the functioning of the heart. The ECG-graph is always evaluated by the internist. In case of alteration patient will be sent to a cardiologist in order to further examinations.
- 4. Chest X-ray
Attending on a chest X-ray is yearly obligatory, since it shows not only the condition of lungs but that of the main veins and arteries. The Medical Centre saves the recorded documents which are at any time available to compare.
- 5. An overall ultrasound scan of the abdomen and the pelvis
During the examination the following organs may be scanned and depicted: liver, gall bladder, kidneys, pancreas and spleen, urinary bladder, for women: womb, ovaries, for men: prostate gland.
- 6. An entire breast examination (physical examination, mammography and breast-ultrasound recording)
It is an important method to discover breast diseases.
Alterations that are recognized in time can be healed properly. An application for an entire examination is yearly recommended.
Over 40 years a physical and breast-ultrasound scan and mammography.
Under 30 years a physical (palpation) and ultrasound scan.
In case of complaints, mammography may be used even under the age of 30.
- 7. Gynaecological examination and cytology
This examination should be taken once in a year. During the gynaecological examination, palpation, instrumental and cytological examinations are taken. Alterations that are recognized in time can be healed properly.
- 8. Urology for men
An urologist takes the examinations of the kidneys, the male sex organs and the prostate gland. In case of complaints they may suggest further special examinations to the patient.
Over 40 years a blood test (PSA) is checked during an oncological screening.
- 9. Ophthalmological examination
Not only the acuity of vision is tested but fundus examination is done. The image of the fundus is an important indicator of the internal organs. In case of high blood pressure, diabetes or coronary diseases an ophthalmological examination is the part of diagnostics.
- 10. Surgical, vascular examinations
Examinations of chest, abdomen and limbs are taken. Possible presence of piles or tumours can be indicated by rectal analysis. The application of further treatments or easy surgical operations will be completed at the spot. Vascular stenosis of the under limbs can be recognized in time by angiology examination or ultrasound scan.
- 11. ENT or hearing examinations if necessary
Alterations and defections are examined in the pharynx, the throat (larynx), the ears, the mouth cavity and the nose. A hearing examination is taken if necessary.
